GAME SPECIES |
| Game species are divided by Cameroonian authorities into two categories. The trophy fees are to be paid in cash or travelers' cheques at the end of the safari and are paid integrally to the Cameroon Game Department. These game fees - as also the game quotas allowed to the outfit - are fixed by the Cameroonian authorities. To group A belong animals which are more rare, and of which only a limited quota is fixed for each outfitter. The species which can be shot during the various types of safaris is fixed accordingly. | ![]() |

According to Cameroonian law only one specimen can be shot of each species. Shooting females or too young animals is forbidden. If this is done by error, the trophy fee is doubled. If an animal is wounded and not found even after an adequate time of tracking the trophy fee is due. Trophy fees, pre- taxidermy and trophy expedition are to be paid in cash after the hunting safari. |
